1. The Guild holiday party will be back at Heavy Seas, on Saturday 12/7. It will be held in the other building toward the end of the parking area. The space will be big and rectangular so everything will be viewable at once. We will have a club table. Theme is tailgating. Some food ideas are mac-n-cheese, meatballs, wings, smoked sausage, and pork sliders.
1. The 20th annual BARCStoberfest Kickoff & Beer Drop Party will be this Friday 10/26, 6-9 PM at Checkerspot. Event website: https://www.barcstoberfest.org/
2. Homebrew Extravaganza at Checkerspot had fewer beers than usual (13) but was still a fun event. A few CRABSters served beers.
1. Our food+beer pairing will be this Saturday May 18, starting at 1:00, at the home of Rob and Lisa Kiernan. All members and significant others are welcome to attend whether or not they compete. See the following Google document for the address, and to sign up:

3. Most of the stout to be aged in a barrel has been brewed, with a few more folks to brew in the near future. We hope to fill the barrel in March. We might do a partial fill on Sunday March 10 with the rest to follow, or fill it all at once later in the month.
