1. Our holiday party had about 30 people and lots of great food and beer. We did a 750 swap, and donated lots of beer to the folks at Heavy Seas. The room had a newly installed bar that we got to enjoy.

2. A former CRABS member is selling / giving away his homebrewing equipment. The email contains an Excel attachment with a list of items and contact info. Call the phone numbers in the file or email meadguild@aol.com to arrange sale/pickup.
3. There will be no Guild holiday party this year because not enough people responded positively to the survey. Next year it will be held at the Arbutus town hall the first Saturday in December 2022.
1. The annual CRABS food & beer pairing will be this Saturday October 16 from 1:00 to 6:00 at Rob Kiernan’s house (2315 Old Frederick Rd, Catonsville MD). Pair up with another CRABS member or your significant other to bring a food dish (main, side, or dessert) and a beer that pairs well with it. We will also have a competition to select the best beer, best food, and best pairing. Sign up on the following Google document:

The homebrew fest in Catonsville on Saturday September 11th was a huge success. $7000 was raised to benefit Katie’s Bridge to Independence, which helps young adults with neuromuscular disease become more independent through academic scholarships and small home adaptions. It will be held again next year the Saturday after Labor Day (9/10/2022).
1.We returned to Heavy Seas for the first time in 17 months and had about 16 attendees. In addition to beer we had some snacks including Tahanka Brothers key lime pie ice cream courtesy of Rob K.
1. The Guild summer picnic will be on Saturday June 5 at Patapsco State Park, Hollofield area, pavilion #300 (the one with the fridge and big grill). There will be a hedonistic beer competition. Entry fee is $2 and cash prizes will be given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.
We had our first in-person meeting in six months. About 15-20 of us gathered in the parking lot across from Checkerspot. We didn’t discuss any business - we just drank and socialized.
